A few of us headed down state over the weekend for Mitsubishi Owners Day at the Mitsubishi manufacturing facility in Normal, IL. Even though the weather didn’t hold out and rain inevitably came down during the event, there was still a pretty good turn out, a ton of giveaways/free food and our guy Ray ended up taking home the trophy for MOD 2010 Judge’s Choice!

While it’s still a fairly new chassis, as far as EVO Xs in the US go, this one most definitely stands out from the crowd. Ray, aka “Raytrix” on EvoM, spent a lot of time waiting for some ‘first-off’ parts for his EVO X to hit the shores and it paid off. Way to properly represent the Midwest!

For the first time since 2007, ClubFR returned to Road America for the combination Midwest Cup Round 1 & DDay31 at the Briggs and Stratton Motorplex. Thanks to the one and only Maggie Mui, we have some great photos from the action-packed event!

A couple weeks ago, a few of the guys over here at Touge Factory headed out to Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, MI for the tenth annual West Michigan Honda Meet. The event — which welcomed all car makes to participate — was very well organized. Even with such a large scale turnout, all the drivers had a healthy share of track time with as many as eleven 15-20min sessions over the two days.
We departed from Chicagoland Saturday morning at approximately 4:45am and arrived as the sun was rising, 15min before the mandatory driver’s meeting! Due to all the track time provided, we only have so many photos of us and the event. Check them out:
